Proceedings of Board of Co vlissioners City of Paducah January 6, 1953
At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber, City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on January 6, 1953, Mayor Pro Tem
Jacobs presided in the absence of Nayor Cherry and upon call of the Roll the £ollowring
answered to their names: Commissioners Clark, Johnston, I•iorrow and Mayor Pro Tem
Jacobs (4).
i•Iayor Pro Ten Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for
December 30, 1952 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the
City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Poll, Yeas, Commissioners
Clark, Johnston, Morrow and mayor Pro Tem Jacobs (4).

Road 7I, permission to make one 3/4 inch connection to a six inch water pipe line owned by the
Paducah mater lIorks so as to furnish water to a sandwich shop located on property
it owned by the petitioner fronting 100 feet on the South side of Kinkleville Road west
of the city limits of the City of Paducah and located in McCracken County, Kentucky,
be received and filed, and that the request petitioned for therein be granted subject
to the terms and conditions of said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs (4).

Solicitors Commissioner Clark offered motion that the letter of C. Warren Eaton,
Heddlers
etc letter Corporation Counsel dated January 5, 1943, relative to "Ordinances regulating
Corporation
Counsel solicitors, peddlers, hawkers, etc", be received and filed. Adopted on call of
the roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs (4).
Rushing Add✓ Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve

to Mamie the sale by the City of Paducah to Mamie Johnson of Lot No. 8 in Block No. 8 of the
Johnson
Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to
execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery lot. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas Commissioners Clark, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs
