Proceedings of_$oard of Commissioners _ City of Paducah December 23, 1952
At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on December 23, 1952, Mayor Pro Tem
Jacobs presided in the absence of Mayor Charry and upon call of the Roll the following
answered to their names: Commissioners Clark, Morrow and Mayor Pro Ten Jacobs (3).
Commissioner Johnston and Mayor Cherry being absent.
Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for December
16, 1952 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk
be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark,
Morrow and Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs (3).

Floodwall Commissioner Clark offered motion that the letter from the United States Corps of
inspection
Engineers dated December 16, 1952 relative to the fall semi-annual inspection of the
Paducah Flood Protection Pumping plants be received and filed, and that a copy of
said letter be placed on the bulletin board at the City Hall and in the office of the
Floodwall Superintendent. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clrk,
Norrow and Nayor Pro 'en Jacobs (3).
