Cherry presided and upon call of the Noll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Cherry (5)
P•:inutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition signed by Frank 'dhitlock
and others requesting the opening of Bloom Avenue from Paxton street to Circle Street
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark,
Jacobs, Johnston, Norrow and Nayor Cherry (5)•
Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition of James Pepper and .wife,
Elizabeth Pepper, and W. T. Pepper, Sr. and his wife, A:yrtle Pepper, each residing on
the Husbands Road in McCracken County, outside the corporate limits of Paducah, Kentucky,

for authority to lay and construct a water line for the purpose of providing water
service to the buildings located on the property of each of the

and filed and that the requests in said petition be granted in accordance with the
terms set forth therein.
It is understood, however, in granting the privileges sought in said petition
neither the City of Paducah nor the Commissioners of Water 'Works shall be obligated to
buy said pipe lines or any part thereof, and no such obligation shall be contained or
be implied hereafter should the territory to be served by the water lines to be laid
under the authority herein requested be taken into or made a part of the City of Paducah.
It is further understood that each of the petitioners will subscribe for water
service at the rates how or hereafter prescribed for water service to consumers
outside the city limits of Paducah and subject in all respects to the rules and regu-
lations of the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of Water Works which may be now in
force or thereinafter enacted.
Uothing in the granting of this petition shall obligate the City of Paducah or
its Commissioners of Water 'Works to guarantee pressure or service, and said water service
ray be discontinued through said pipe lines at any time when in the judgment of its

Commissioner Morrow offered motion that the petition of Richard G. Aankit, and

construct a water line for the purpose of providing water service to the building
located on the said property of petitioners be received and filed and that the request

constructed upon the property owned by the petitioner on Lots Nos. 4 &. 5, Block 1, and twc
connections to two residences to be constructed upon tracts Nos. 1, 2 Sc 3 in Block 1 of
Thurman's I•:inerva Place Addition, outside the city limits of Paducah, Kentucky, be

The purpose of this motion is to institute or take initial steps necessary in
planning fcr the ultimate construction of a fire station to serve the western section of the
