At a Regular Aieeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber at the City Ball, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on February 27, 1951, tz yor
Johnston. presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Hannin, Jacobs, Sims, Thomas and Mayor Johnston (5).
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Commissioner 11annin offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and
file. the petition of Mrs. Ruth Sowells and others requesting that street lights be
installed at Gileon and Tully streets; Gilson and Ewing Streets and Gilson and Main
Streets. He further moved that the City Manager cause an investigation to be made
and if it is found that street lights are needed at Gilson and Ewing Streets and Gilson
and blain Streets that he be directed to request the Kentucky Utilities Company to make
such installation. He further moved that the Kentucky Utilities Company be reminded
that a street light be installed at Gilson and Tully Streets as requested in the letter
addressed to them by the City Manager under date of November 30, 1950. Adopted on call.

Company protecting the City of Paducah with respect to work done by Floyd L. Oldham
for a period of one year from March 1, 1951. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,

Bond- Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the bond executed by P. L. Lindley, as

MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL, KNOWN AS THE RIVERSIDE HOSPITAL; AUTHORIZING STUART JOHNSTON, THE
MAYOR OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT FOR AND ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH; AND PRESCRIBING THE TENNIS AND CONDITIONS TO BE CONTAINED IN
