Commissioners Jacobs offered a motion that the petition of Ray Hulen Jones residing on the Oaks Road outside the corporate limits of Paducah, Kentucky, for authority to lay and construct :stor Line one water line for the purpose of providing water service to one residence to be constructed on Caks Road the property of petitioner, be received and filed and that the request in said petition be granted in accordance udth the terms set forth therein. It is understood, however, in granting the privilege sought in said petition neither the City of Paducah, nor the Commissioners of Water Works shall be obligated to buy said pipe line or any part thereof, and no such obligation shall be contained or be implied hereafter should the territory to be served by the water line to be laid under the authority herein requested be taken into or made a part of the City of Paducah. I Itis further understood that the petitioner will subscribe for water service at the rates now or hereafter prescribed for water service to consumers outside the city limits and sub-: ject to the rules and regulations of the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of Water Works eh ich may be now in force or hereinafter enacted. Nothing in the granting of this petition shall obligate the City of Paducahor its Com- missioners of Water Works to guarantee water pressure or service, and said water service may be discontinued through said pipe lines at any time when in the judgment of the Commissioners of Water Works the furnishing of water to the petitioner or his successors in ownership of the pro- j perty owned may interfere in any wise with the adequate supply and distribution of water inside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah. Commissioner Jacobs offered a motion that the Board receive and file the executed copy of the offer of sale of land by the City of Paducah to the Paducah Municipal Housing Commission dated June 0, :. ,Dr 30, 1950. Commissioner Jacobs offered a motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the execution of Co. :Ota 1�/• r:_ a deed by the City Clerk to William T. Yates, conveying to him a lot in Oak Grove Cemetery described as being Lot No. 26 in Section 14, said deed to be executed in lieu of a previous deed to said lot .. .• -.its. dated the 2nd day of February, 126, uitich has been lost, and that the City Clerk enter on the Cemetery Register a notation of the conveyance of said cemetery lot by said deed. Anderson advising that the work done 1ca3 by J. W. Croarh and Glenn Stinson on city streets and other public ways has been completed, inspected approved, be received and filed; that bond No. 2279670 executed by Glenn Stinson and the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York as surety, and bond No. 2134504 executed by J. W. Croach and the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York is surety be cancelled as of this date and that the City Manar-er be authorized to execute and deliver to the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York a certification of the cancel.ation of .the f.'uncellation of each of said bonds.
