M., on September 27, 1949, Yayor Pro Tem Johnston presided and upon call of the Poll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Abell, Allen, Hannin and mayor Fro Tem Johnston W. Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read: Water line Coamissioner Abell offered motion that the petition of Charles L. Hoskins, owner of a house Murray Avenue and Clive St. and lot located at 1200 Murray Avenue, Rufus D. Green owner of a house and lot located at 1025 Murray Avenue, A. R. Davis, owner of a house and lot located at 1.130 Murray Avenue, Nola Brown, owner of a house and lot located at 11117 Murray Avenue, A. J. Hulen Estate, owner of a house and lot located at 1139 Murray Avenue, Leslie Vcnters, owner of a house and lot.located at 1137 Murray Avenue, Bill I.Y. Dixon, owner of a house and lot located at 1131 Murray Avenue, G. S. Eldridge, owner of a house and lot located at 1121 hurray Avenue, Mary Haynes, owner of a housd and lot located at 704 Murray Avenue, ` Panzy Goffman, owner of a house and lot located at 1203 Murray Avenue, and George N. Starrett, owner of a house and lot located at 1.139 Murray Avenue, file with the Mayor and Board of Commission-rs a petition, representing that each of the above named parties is the owner of the respective property referred to in said petition, and said parties petition the Mayor and Board of Commissioners for the extension of a 6" main along Olive Street from Brown Street to Murray Avenue and on Murray Avenue from Olive Street to Culley Street, a distance of approximately 1140 feet. It appears from the endorsement by the Board of Connissioners of the Paducah Plater Works that said request and petition comply with the franchise provisions and requirements. I, ?HERrEFCRE, MOVE that the petition of Charles L. Hoskins, and others, be received and filed and that the Paducah Tater Works, through its Board of Commissioners, be authorized to extend a 61, water main along Olive Street from Brown Street to Murray Avenue and on Murray Avenue from Olive Street i to Culley Street, a distance of approximately 1140 feet, so as to provide water service to the above described property on Olive Street and Murray Avenue. I further move that the adoption of this resolution and the granting of the r equest contained in said petition be considered as an arreement on the part of the City of Paducah to pay the fire hydrant and water rain rental, as provided in the franchise, on the pipe line and connection referred to in the petition, said rentals to begin when said water main has been laid and rater provided for on said .:_coon Of Olive Street from Brown Street t. Edwards, the insured under the liability Charles T. Edwards u policy of the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company, No. PLP -963$, which was filed with and approved by the Board of Commissioners on August 23, 19492 be permitted to withdraw said policy from the records and that the Board df Commissions s receive, file and approve in lieu of the aforesaid Policy No. PLP -9365, the certificate of insurance issued to the City of Paducah showing coverage by United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company of the City of Paducah and Charles T. Edwards under its policy No. 51.'C-120921 for construction and excavation work performed by the said Charles T. Edwards in streets, sidewalks and public ways as required under the provisions of the ordinance relating to Ithe granting of permits for the doing of such excavation and construction work.
