Commissioner Abell offered motion that the Board receive and file the attached 1: tter of July 13, 1949 from Col. J. L. Person, U. S. ,District Engineer at Louisville, in which he stated that the floodwall was turned over to the City of Paducah for maintenance and operation effective 15 July 1949. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Abell, Allen, Hannin and Mayor Pro Tam Johnston (4). I' Commissioner Abell offered motion that the board of Commissioners receive and file copies of floodwall permits issued to Paducah Junior Chamber of Commorce to con- struct wood sign, size.41 x 41 on floodwall right of %ray, Section B-2, Station 1234CC and to ;Talker Boat 'lard to construct 1 1/2" galvanized water line across floodwall right of •,•ray.
