later line cn. , Commissioner Allan offered motion that the petition of Aron Rodgers and wife,Oaks Road
Irene Rodgers, residintr on south side of Oaks Road outside the corporate limit -a of
Paducah, Kentucky, for authority to lay and construct a water line for the purpose of
providing water service to the building located on the property be received and filed
and that the request in said petition be granted in accordance with the terms act
forth therein.

It is understood, however, in granting the privilege sought in said petition

j neither the City of Paducah, nor the Commissioners of Plater Works shall be obligated
to buy said pipe line or any part thereof, and nos uch obligation shall be contained
I, or be implied hereafter should the territory to be served by the water line to be laid,
�i under the authority herein requested be taken into or made a part of the City of Paducah.
It is further understood that the petitioner will subscribe for water service at
the rates now or hereafter prescribed for eater service to consumers outside the city
limits and subject in all respects to the rules and regulations of the City of Paduca
or its Commissioners of lVater 'llorks which may be now in force or hereinafter enacted.
No*hing in the granting of this petition shall obligate the City of Paducah or its
Commissioners of ::sten :,arks to guarantee water pressure or service, and said water
service may be discontinued through said pipe line at any time when in the judgment of
the Commissioners of :later Works the furnishing of water to t;.e pe titioners of their
successors in ownership of the property owned may interfere in any wise with the adegyato
{ supply and distribution of water inside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah.

Dog Pound Commissioner Allen offered motion that the board authorize the expenditure of not

to exceed .150 for construction of a dog pound in the incinerator building on the dump-
ing site at north 6th and Flournoy Streets, to be charged to Account 4486 of the 1949
apportionment ordinance. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Abell,

Paducah in connection v3 th permits issued to the said Floyd L. Oldham; also bond in
the amount of ;1000 executed by Floyd L. Oldham dated June 10, 1949, Adopted on cal
