Lowry,; y) Division yI Street Attorney, in which he advises that Odell Garner and Ernest Garner and his wife, Lena widening Garner, are seized of a good and valid title to lots 29 and 30 in Loiberman's Addition as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book "A", page 41, in the UcCracken County Court Clerkts office, a part of which lots has been conveyed to the City of Paducah for widening a street known as Division Street, be received and filed. St. Li^ht?% Commissioner Abell offered motion that the inter -departmental memo from the Pol ce 27th & 28th f!Fairmont Department and the City Manager regarding installation of street lights at the inter- sections of 27th and Fairmont and 28th and Fairmont Streets be received and filed and r that the City tanager be directed to arrange for the installation of these lights. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Abell, Allen, Fannin and Mayor Pro Tel Johnston (4). Adessa Heady Commissioner Abell offered motion that the City Manager be authorized to settle Sett la C1eim the claim of Adessa Heady in the sum of 825.00 on account of injuries she received in an accident which occurred on November 30th, 1948 when she fell on the sidewalk on the west side of south Tenth Street and on the north side of Caldwell Street near the intersection of Tenth and Caldwell streets, and that the amount so paid be charged against the appropriation for Suits and Claims under the apportionment ordinance for I 1949. Cline Commissioner Fannin offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and Elliott Ell on lot file the letter of Cline Elliott dated tay 18th, 1949, cancelling his offer to purchas[ with,;rowr t'?e lot on Ctar7.e Avenue for .".100.00, and that the City of Paducah release him from his offer to purchase said lot. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Abell, Allen, 11annin and Mayor Iro Tom Johnston (4). b Magnavox -Ellis `,/ Commissioner Hannin o.,'fered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and fil St. Vliden- Yr Deed of Zeleaso, the Deed of Dedication executed by the Citizens Savings Bank at Paducah, Truatee, Deed of Dedica_ tlen-etc filed 11 the Paducah Junior College, and The Vagnavox Company to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, under which deed the grantors named therein conveyed to the City of Paducah for use as a public street the following described property: "Beginning at the southeast corner of the intersection of a 301 street known as Ellis Street and a 601 street known as Eighth Street; thence in an easterly N direction and along the south property line of Eighth Street 201; thence in a southerly direction and parallel with the east property line of Ellis Street 455' to the north right of way line of the C. St. L. & `I.o.R.R. Company; thence in a westerly direction and with the north right of way line of the C. St. L. i F N.O.R.R. 201 to the east property line of Ellis Street; thence in a northerly direction and with the east property line of Ellis Street 455f to the point of beginning." i Being in all respects a part of the same property conveyed by The 1"agnavox Company of Kentucky to the Ii Citizens Savinrs Bank at Faducah, as Trustee, by I, deed dated November 28, 1947, and of record in Deed Pook 253, page 121, in the office of the County Court Clerk of McCracken County, Kentucky. He further moved that the 'coard also receive and file a certified copy of the minutes of the Trustees of the Paducah Junior College authorizing the execution of the aforesaid deed of dedication by Brady 14. Stewart, 'its Chairman, and by Schultz Riggs, its secretary; also a certified copy of the resolution adopted by the Board of Directo of the Citizens Savings Bank at Paducah, authorizing the execution of the aforesaid dead by C. M. Hand, the president of said bank, and IV. G. Womble, its Cashier; and also the deed of release of The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company under which said Company has fully released the lion of its mortgage upon the above described real estate as said mortgage appears of record in Mortgage Book 124, page 2.17, in the office of the County Court Clerk of McCracken County, Kentucky.
