Proceedings o/' Board of Commissioners City of Paducah May 1.7, 1949
At a Regular Mooting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
at the City (tall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.I.% on May 17th, 1949, Mayor Pro Tem
Johnston presided and upon call of' the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Abell, Allen, Fannin and ifayor Pro Tem Johnston (4).
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
5th Supple. !% Commissionor Abell Offered notion that the fifth Supplemental Contract entered into

Paducah bus between the City of Pnducah and Mary Deronda Rieke, doing business under the firer name

of thePaducah L•us Company, said contract providing an amendment of a former contract

and giving the Paducah Bus Company certain rights and privileges with reference to the
(fixing of operating schedules for bus transportation, be received and filed. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Abell, Allen, Fannin and Mayor Pro Tem Johnsto,
Talker Boat Commissioner Abell offered motion that the application of the Walker Boat Yard for

yard, together with the drawings which show the specifications to be complied with for
making said water connection, be received and filed and that the permit be granted upon
the condition that the water connection and the use of the floodwall for the purpose of
(making said connection is approved by the United States Engineers Office. Adopted on

Veterans of Commissioner ;tannin offered motion that the letter of Alfred Obermark, Commander of

Dumps ,the Jackson -Harris Post No. 1191, Veterans of Foreign !jars, requesting the Board of
Commissioners to adopt an ordinance providing for the disposal of rubbish in the city,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeaa, Commissioners Abell,
Allen, Fannin and yayor Pro Tem Johnston (4).
Cemetery Lot Commissioner Fannin offered motion that the 4card of Commissioners approve the trans

Peterson

Ho further moved that the City Clark be directed to crake the proper notation on the
rCemetery Register showing said transfer. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yens,
