Yinutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Commissioner Abell offered motion that the offer,of Louise Elliott and Charles Elliott for the purchase of a lot owned by the City of Paducah on the south side of Starke Avenue east of Kruger Avenue for the sum of $100 be received and filed, and that the attorney for the city be directed to prepare for introduction at the next meeting an ordinance providing for the sale of the property at that price. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Abell, Allen, Hannin and Mayor Pro Tem Johnston (4). Bids on police cars Commissioner Abell offered motion that the attached bids from King -Woodall :Rotor Sales and Vaughn .3 Nallace Motor Company for sale of police cars to the city and the City Idanagerfs letter of May 10, 1949, relating to such bids, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Abell, Allen, Hannin and Mayor Pro Tem Johnston (4). Truck traffics Commissioner Fannin offered motion that the Board receive and file the attached around Hoe- �J ital-let+.or letter of 1:ay 10, 1949, from :Ar. Chas. D. Hatfield, advising that the Riverside Hospital Board adopted a resolution on May 9, 1949, requesting that truck traffic be prohibited on Clay Street between 3rd and 5th Streets and on 4th Street between Farrison Street and Park Avenue except for delivery of merchandise.
