Minutes of the previous meeting ^:ere adopted as read. v Sale of Bldg /'; Commissioner Abell offered motion that the letter of the City 14anager, Mir. Victor 209-15 3 3rd Letter M'gr. C. Hobday, recomm.,ending the sale of the brick building located at 209-15 South 3rd St. sand the use of the proceeds of said sale for the erection of a quonset-type building on the lot occupied by the Street Department building at 9th and Madison streets be received and filed. MANAGER TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTS WITH THE MID-CONTINENT PETROLEUM CCR°ORATION AND ThE STANDARD OIL COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF GASOLINE AND OIL REQUIRED IN GOVERNMENTAL OPERATIONS FOR A PERIOD OF FOUR (4) MONTHS BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1949, AND PROVIDING THAT PURCHASES SHA_L BE MADE UPON THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORT7I TIEREIN", be adopted. Sam Croig ✓ Mayor Pro Tem Johnston made the following appointment: City Planning A Zoning Sam Craig, a member of the City Planning and Zoning Commission having vacated his Commission office as a member of said Commission by accepting the appointment to serve as a member of the Eoard of Equalization for the year 1949, and his services as a member of said Board of Equalization havinE been fully performed and his office as amember of said Commission having terminated; I hereby re -appoint, the said Sam Craig to serve as a member of the City Planning and Zoning Commission so that said Com7ission as now constituted shall be composed of the following members: (1) Gene Peak, Mayor and Ex -Officio member (2) T. A. Bradley, City Engineer and &'c -Officio member (3) Schultz Rigs, City Member whose term expires March 19, 1950 (4) A. E. (Jack) Cole, City Member whose term expires March 19, 1952 (5) Sam Craig, City Member, whose term expires March 19, 1952 (o) E. M.
