Proceedings of Anard of Commissioners City of Paducah May 4. 1948 '
At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.". on May 4, 1948, Mayor
Pro Tem Johnston presided in the absence of ]Mayor Peak and upon call of the Roll,
the following answered to their names: Commissioners Abell, Allen, Carlick and

Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Sell lot toi;! Commissioner Abell offered motion that the City of Paducah accept We offer of
John Stokes i,
11 John Stokes in the sum of .x,100.00 for the purchase of a lot 83.75x270 feet located on
the south side of 7th street west of Flournoy.
He further moved that the Corporation Counsel prepare for introduction at the
next meeting an ordinance authorizing the execution of a Contract of Sale of said
property. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Abell, Allen, Carlick,
and Mayor Pro Tem Johnston (4).
Mausoleum Bldg Commissioner Abell offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and
