Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Poducah December 2. 1947
At a Regular 1.1�eting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber at the City Hall, Faducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on December 2, 1947
Mayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names
Commissioners Friedlander, Sims, '-lilliams and Mayor Seaton (4), Commissioner
Johnston being absent (1).
Ydnutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
City's part J Commissioner Sims offered motion that the letter of J.F.Stigor, Chief Locating
Cost of Belt
line Hirtviay Engineer of the Department of Highways, Commonwealt(} of Kentucky, with reference to
the portion of the costs chargable to the City of Paducah for the purchase of a right-
of-way for construction of the Belt Line Highway in Paducah, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Friedlander, Sims, Williams and
Mayor Seaton (4).
Paducah Varine Commissioner Sims offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, fila
ways-Fermit
Floodwall and approve the permit granted the Paducah Marine '.ays, Inc., to construct railroad
spur track through Clark Street Closure Section B. Unit 2, Station 108/53 as per the
plans attached to said permit, dated November 12th, 1947, an executed copy of which per
is filed herewith as a part of this motion, and that the action of Victor C. Hobday, I
the City ata n ger, in the execution of said floodwall permit be ratified and confirmed.
