Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah November 25, 1947

At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on November 25, 1947,
Mayor Seaton preaided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:)
Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, 'Williams and idayor Seaton (5').
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Allard Property. Commissioner Sims offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive
Sell Bldg.
and file the letter of the City Manager in which he recommends that the city accept
the bid of Mr. Fred K. 6.adrey in the sum of N600.00 for the brick building located
on the old Allard property, that the contract for the sale of said building to Mr.
Madrey provide that the city may use as many brick as needed to enclose the rear part
of the garage for police cars and Mr. Madrey to have credit on his aforesaid bid

ata price of 15.00 per 1000 brick used b,y said city, that he obligate himself elf to

move said building from the land not later than March 1st, 1948.
It was further moved that the City Manager's recommendation be accepted and

that the Corporation Counsel be instructed to prepare for introduction at the next
meeting an ordinance providing for the sale of said building upon the terms and con-
ditions set forth in the city Manager's letter. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, .Williams and Mayor Seaton (5).
Sell lot 209 / Commissioner Williams offered motion that the letter of the City Manager dated

Hook & Mathis November 24 in which he recommends the acceptance of the bid of Yloodrow Hook and Harry
Mathis, partners doing business under the firm name of H & M. Moters, in the amount
of 37010.00 for the purchase of the lot at 209 South Third Street, be received and
filed, and that the Corporation Counsel be directed to
