'''hayne Company for permission to construct a privately owned water line to connect to the now Supply Co existing water main ata point near 8th and Ellis Streets to be extended to the prop- i arty of Roy C. yhxayne located on the east side of North 8th Street outside the city limits of the City of Paducah be granted subjedt to the limitations and conditions contained in said petition. Nothing contained in the granting of this request shall be construed as a guarantee of pressure or water service on the part of the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of eater 77orks, and nothing in the granting of said request shall now or� hereafter be construed as an obligation or agreement on the part of the City of Paduca1h or its Commissioners of -eater Forks to purchase or acquire said water line or any parol thereof or to maintain same; no such obligation shall arise should said territory where said privately owned pipe line lies be annexed to or taken into the corporate limits of the city of Paducah. Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah January 28th, 1947 1 Payor Seaton's Mayor Seaton offered the following motion: I hereby appoint Louis Kirehoff, appointees Citizens Comm. Board of Equal- Mayor Seaton offered the following motion: The Board of Equalizers having ization extension of time to requested an extension of time in order to arrive at the fair and equal valuation Yarch 1, 1947 of property in the City of Paducah for purposes of taxation, and requesting that an i d extension be granted until March 1, 1947; i I move that the request of the Board of Equalization be received and filed and that the present session of said board be extended to March 1, 1947, in which to 1 complete their work, hear complaints and dispose of all matters to be presented to said board. Fierce, members of the City of Paducah Municipal Hospital Commission, Board having expired on December 31, 1946; I move that the said Ewing Gilson and W. J. Pierce be reappointed to serve i as members of said commission for a further term of three years beginning January 1, 1947, so that said commission as now constituted shall be composed of the followini members: (1) Mrs. H. Tire and one- Commissioner Williams offered motion that the City Manager be requested to include half for 5011days j in his budget for the year 1947 an amount sufficient for payment of time and ane-hald compensation to those employees who, during the year, are required to work on regular holiasys during said year and that the Corporation Counsel, when preparing the apportionment ordinance for the year 1947 based upon the budget of the City Manager, include therein for the consideration of the uoard of Copimianioners a provision authorizing the payment of time and one-half componnation to those employees of the city who will be required to viork on rerulnr holidays.
