At a Regular Meeting of. the Board bfCommissioners held in the Commisslont rs�
Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on September 11, 194 ,1
Mayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their namos:
Commissioners Johnston. Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor -eaton (4), Commissioner Pierce being

absent. 1
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Nater Main Commissioner v:agaar offered the following motion: H.R.Bullock (3 houses)
North 8th ✓
T.J.Hoffman (2 Houses), and Alma Blankenship (1) house, file with the Mayor and Board of

Commissioners a petition, representing that each of the above named parties is the
owner of the respective property referred to in said petition and that said property
adjoins the street mentioned therein; and said parties petition the Mayor and Board of
Commissioners to authorize the laying of a 6" water main on North 8th Street from
Terrell Street Southeast a distance of approximately 400 feet.
It appears from the endorsement by .the Board of Commissioners of the
Paducah ':Yater horks that said request and petition complies with the franchise provisions
and requirements.
I, therefore move that the petition of H.R.Builock and others names herein
be received arra filed and that the Paducah Inater ,`forks, through its Board of Commission-
ers, be authorized to lay said six inch main on North 8th Street from Terrell Street
Southease a distance of approximately 400 feet, so as to provide water service to the
lots abutting on North 8th Street from Terrell Street Southeast a distance of approx-
imately 400 feet.
I further move that the adoption dC this resolution and the granting
of the request contained in said
q petition be considered as an agreement on the part
of the City of Paducah to pay the fire hydrant and water main rental, as provided in
the franchise, on the pipe line and connection referred to in the petition, said
rentals to be:;in when said water main has been laid and water provided for on said
section of North 8th Street. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
