Proceedings of Board of Commiusioners City cf Paducah December 26, 1944
At a Regular I::eeting of the Hoard of Commissionera held in the
Commissioners' Chamber at the City Rall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 otclock P.M.
on December 26th, 1944, ;dayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following
I, answered to their names: Commissioners Johnston, Pierce, Pulliam, Wagner and

Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Soliday Commissioner Wagner offered motion that all city employees, with the

exception of the police and fire department personnel, be allowed a holiday on Now
Years Day. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Pierce,

Airport R Mayor Seaton offered motion that the Hoard of Commissioners receive and

al Agreement file the executed copy of the First Supplemental Agreement to Lease No. :7 2215 ERG 980
ii pertaining to its termination as of October 10th, 1944, and paymont of the sum of
'14,250.00 in satisfaction of the Governmontfs obligation to restore the leased
promises under the terms of the basic lease. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Johnston, Pierce, Pulliam,-Ragner and Mayor Seaton (5).
Police Dept. (� Commissioner ^lagner offered motion that the City Manager be requested
enforce
traffic laws i to instruct the Police Department to Rigidly enforce the speed laws of the City of
Paducah, as well as all other traffic laws, and if necessary, that he recommend
to the Hoard the employment of additional police officers and the purchase of
motorized equipment in order that all traffic law violators may be punished.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Fierce, Pulliam, :Varner
and Mayor Seaton (5).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
