Exonerations
At a Regular McetLng of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commiasloners I Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.t..
December 29th, 1942, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the Roll the following
answered to their names, Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and
a Mayor Lackey (5).
Yinutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.

Mayor Lackey offered motion that the Corporation Counsel prepare for
Introduction at the next meeting of the Board a Resolution authorizing the acceptance
of the bid of Cotton & Eskew, Cort fled Public Accountants for the preparation of the
Audit for the year 1942, and authorizing the execution of a contract for the making
V of said audit. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Dorian,
Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor Lackey (5).
Mayor Lackey offered motion that the letter of L. L. Nelson, Fark Supervisor,
in which he advises the Board of Commissioners concerning the cost of repairing the
damaged statue of Chief Paduke, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the
roll, Yeas, Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Magner and Mayor Lackey (5).
na Mayor Lackey offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and file

he letter of the Corporation Counsel in which he states his opinion as to the

duties of the Mayer and the Members of the Board of Commissioners with respect to the
demand made by hr. Elmer Brown for removal of the City Manager, and in view of the
advises contained in said letter, I further move that no action be taken upon the
complaint which has been filed by Mr. Brown. Adopted on call of the Roll., Yeas
Commissioners Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and Ciayor Lackey (4), Hays, Commissioner
Dorian (1).
Commissioner Pulliam offered motion that exonerations ties. 8402-8776 inclusive
be received and filed; and that the amount of ;;2,807.83 be exonerated Cp the tax
bills as shown on said exonerations:
