At a Rogular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the
Cormisn loners I Chanbor at the City Ball, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P. I.T. on
December 8th, 1942, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the Roll the following
answered to their names: Commiaaloners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, 17agnor and Mayor
Lackey (5).

Reduced I have the Police Department make an investigation for the purpose of determining whethe
the number of traffic lights ih the City may be reduced, and to report his findings an
recommendations at the next regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners. Adopted
Minutes of the previous meeting dere adopted as read.
Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the City manager be requested to
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor
Lackey (5).

Standard Oil Mayor Lackey offered motion that the Agreement entered into between the

Mayor Lackey offered motion that the .letter of Mra. Katherine C. Crunch,
requesting a further appropriation for the nursery school committee be received and
filed, and that the city of Paducah contribute each month n sufficient sum for payment
'kms of the heat, lights and water bills in the property at 721 Clay Street while it Ss
used by the Committee in carrying out its nursery school program, said oontriaution
to be made provided the Committee arroes to use as a nursery school the property
ovmed by the City at 733 Madison Street when said property is vacated by NlPA
Recreational Center, and that the contributions made pursuant to this motion be
charged to the Contingent Fund. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yens,
Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Ylagnor and Mayor Iackey (5).
