At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Com-
,missioners Chamber at the City Ball, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the

;17th day of 9'ebruary, 1942, Commissioner Dorian presided as Mayor pro tom .in the
:absence of Mayor Lackey and upon call of the roll the following; answered to their
names: Commissioners Johnston, Pulliam and Mayor pro tom Dorian (3).

Mayor pro tom Dorian offered motion that this regular meeting of the
,Board of Commissioners be adjourned until Wednesday, February 18th, 1942, at 10:00
;o'clock A31. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Johnston, Pulliam and

At an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in
Commissioners Chanber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kon tuck y, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on the
18th day of February, 1942, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam and
Mayor Lnekey (4).
Commissioner Dorian offered the following motion:
t;ashington's Birthday, February 22nd, 1942, being a legal holiday but falling on
Sunday, I move that the City r(nployees be allowed a full holiday to be taken on Monday,
February 23rd, with the exception of the police and fire department personnel.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Cocmniasioncra Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam and Mayor
Lackey (4).
Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the payroll for the first half
