Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, 11nener and Mayor Lackey (5). 1941 Audit r1- Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the Audit Report submitted by Yeager r1a:we8 & !& White, Certified Public Accountants of Louisville, Kentucky, said report setting fort f _10,. the financial conditions of the City of Paducah for the year 1941, and showing the ':results of their examination of the financial affairs of said city as of December 31st 1941, be received and filed; that said Audit Report be published in the official newspaper, and the one hundred copies thereof remain on fila in the office of tie City Manager, a copy to be delivered to any voter who may apply for sago at his office. liAdopted on call of the roll: Yens; Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and w 'mayor Lackey (5). r!1- 'Price Glover Commissioner Pulliam offered motion that the letter of Edwin P. Commissioner �Jagner offered motion that the tiayor be requested to write Airport-Senstor Barkley t?innicec: for aid a letter to Honorable Alban W. Barkley, United States Senator, expressing. to him the thanks of the City of Vaducah for his vigorous support of measures which broug.ht about a change in plans under which the City and County are now assured that the runways at the now airport will be constructed with materials of the hi, -heat grade and quality. Food Stamps - Bill Mayor Lackey offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the governing misuse of sent to Henry Ward adoption of a Bill at the 1942 session of the State Legislature under which it will be provided that any person misusing Government Food Order Stamps shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and that Mr. Henry 'Bard, State Representative, and Mr. E. Strother Melton, State Senator, be requested to support the adoption of such legislation. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor Lackey (5). Commissioner Dorian offered motion that a resolution entitled: Resolution dir-eting require:�ents of Paducah "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAY WILKINS, BUILDING INSPECTOR, AND DR. C. E. REDDICK, ?:'unicipal Housing Com., on unsafe buildings to SUPERINTENDENT OF THE MCCRACKEH COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, TO TAKE MIE ACTION NECESSARY be carried out TO REQUIRE 1HE 0J3 -RS OF BUILDINGS WHICH ARE IN A BAD STATE OF REPAIR OR ENSANITARY EITH"r.R TO BRING SAID BUILDINGS UP TO STANDARD OR TO CAUSE THE SAME TO DE DEMOLISHED IN COMPLIANCE WITft THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY MUNICIPAL HOUSING COv'.G'IS.;ION", be adopted.
