At a call meeting of the Board of Comminalonera of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, held in the Commissioners Chamber at the City Hall at 9:00 o'clock
A.,M. on the 15th day of January, 1942, Coiamiaaioner Dorian presided as Mayor pro tem
in the absence of Mayor Lackey and upon call of the roll the following answered to
their names: Commissioners Pulliam, Magner and Mayor pro tem Dorian (3).
Mayor pro tom Dorian stated reason for call, to -wit:
For the purpose of rescinding a motion adopted on January 13, 1942 authorizing refund
of license to General Contract Purchase Corporation, and to transact any other
business that may come properly before the meeting.
Rudy Stewart, City Clerk, filed notices of this Special or Call
meeting to be held on January 15, 1942 at 9:00 o'clock A.M., the notices to Commission

Mayor pro tem, being acknowledged by each of the members to whom such notices were
given, and the notice to Mayor Pierce E.•Lackey, signed by idiss Mary M. Dorian, Mayor
pro tam, showing by the officers returning that a copy had been delivered to the
Mayor's address on the third floor of the Taylor Building in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky on January 14, 1942•

a part of the occupational license tax paid by it for 1942.

whore Lho businesses of finance companies, automobile dealers and others are closed
