At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Com-
missioners Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the
13th day of Hay, 1941, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following
answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and
Mayor Lackey (5).

Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as road.
WPA Froposal Mayor Lackey offered motion that the City Manager be authorized to
for Black- submit to the Mork Projects Administration a
burn 3 Kolb � proposal for the development of Blackburn
Fork and Kolb Parka according to the plans of the City Engineer and the estimates made by
him as to the cost of such improvements. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas;
Cotimissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5).
George St., Mayor Lackey offered motion that the City Manager be requested to notify
improvementthe property owners on George Street that the City of Paducah is financially unable at
this time to construct a street across the hollow between 6th and George Streets since
such work would coat approximately $35,000.00 according to the estimate made by T. A.
Bradley the City Engineer.
I further move that the City Manager be requested to ascertain if the
owners of the property on George Street at the hollow are Trilling to dedicate a strip
of ground across the hollow to the City of Paducah for street purposes, and if such
dedication is made, that the hollow be filled in as the city is able to deposit dirt
and materials there so that there will eventually be a usable street.

SLpDol Lan-( Mayor Lackey offered motion that the letter of Joseph R. Ylalker, Chair -i
man of the School Lunch Committee, requesting the City to make available 5 acres of
land for the raising of garden vegetables to provide food for lunch rooms in city
arhools, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll: Yens;
Corxlasioners Baker, Blackburn, Doi -inn, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5).
Mayor Lackey offered motion that the letter of 17. F. Munnikhuysen, Vice!
