Appropriation to I.C.
Employees' Service Club
At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissioners Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the
;6th day of April, 1941, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following
answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and
Mayor Lackey (5).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.
V Commissioner Pulliam offered motion that the sum of $25.00 be
appropriated by the City of Paducah for the purchase of an ad in the program to be
published by the Illinois Central Employees' Service Club sponsoring a picnic for the
Iron Lung Purchase Fund to be hold May 30th, 1941 at the Luther Carson Park, and that
the amount so appropriated be charged to the Contingent Fund set aside in the
Apportionment Ordinance in the year 1941. Adopted on call of the roll: Yens;
Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5).
Resolution donating tract, Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: I move that a

,resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF A TRACT OF LAND TO THE
UNITED STATES GOVERIWERT FOR ACCEPTANCE AS All AIRPORT SITE FOR NATIONAL DEFENSE
PURPOSES", be adopted, and the resolution adopted by the Greater Paducah Association
as of this date be filed herewith. Adopted on call of the roll: Yoas;
Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5).

"A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPROMISE OFFER OF IGERT, INC,, TO PAY TO THE CITY OF
PADUCAH THE SUM OF $2,081.13 IN FULL SETTLEMENT OF ALL TAXES ON PROPERTY VIHICH Hi+S
,:BEEN OMITTED FROM ASSESSMENT FOR ALL PREVIOUS YEARS, INCLUDING THE TAXES DUE ON SAID
