Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: I move that an ordinan-

LEASING OF SAID FIRE FIGHTING APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT", be adopted.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pu]liam and
Mayor Lackey (5).

At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the
Commissioners Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 10 o'clock A.M., on the
2nd day of August, 1940, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following
answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (4)
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, towit: For the purpose
of passing the payroll for the last one-half of July, 1940, and to transact any other
business that may come properly before the meeting.
Commissioner Baker offered motion that the payroll for the
Plast lhalf !Bat half of July, 1940 be allowed in the amount of $10,703.40 and that the City
July, 1940 Trenauror be authorized to pay same by checks drawn on the General Fund.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yens; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Pulliam and Mayor
