Al Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: I move the property

exfrom city taxes of the Chief Paduilce Post x131 of American Lotion at 2930 Broadway, be exempt from ad
valorem taxes, that portion the city receives, so long as property shall remain the
home of said Post and used solely for the purposes as defined in their letter dated
June 13th, 1940 attached. Adopted on call of the role: Yeas; Commissioners
Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5).
Mayor Lackey offered motion that the letter addressed to James P.

wall property for Smith, City Manager from Ur. R. F. I-TeMurry, dated June 14, 1940, be received and
richt of way to Highway
Dept., N. 13th St., filed, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute said Easement for Highway purposes.

At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Com -
sinners Chamber at the City Rall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 2 o'clock P.M., on the 21st
of June, 1940, Commissioner Pulliam presided as mayor pro tem in the absence of
or Lackey, who was nut of the city, and upon call of the roll the following
