At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on December 10, 19461
Mayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:I
Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, Williams and D?ayor Seaton (5).

also the public liability policy issued to the Youngblood Plumbing and Heating Supply

from November 28, 1946, which bond and insurance policy have been executed as

required under the provisions of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
DIG,ING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDDIALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER
PUBLIC '!!AY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KEITTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION
THEREOF", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on September 24, 1946.

to the suit instituted by Myrtle Young for recovery of damages in the sum of 14030.00
on account of injuries she received when she fell into a halo at the base of a storm j
Dower intake at the southwest corner of 26th and Monroo Streets, and that the action of
the City L'anager by battling said suit by paying to Myrtle Young and her husband, H. J.�
Young, the sura of ','435.00, together with the costs of court upon the recovvendation of
