Commissioner :'illiams offered motion that the petition signed by residents in

the vicinity of North Thirty -Sixth and Central Avenue requesting that a street light
be Installed at said Intersection be received and filed. I further move that the
acting city manager be requested to instruct the chief of police to conduct an
investigation as to the necessity of a street light at said Interaeetion. Adopted on
call of the Roll, teas, Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, Cilliams and
Payor Seaton (5).
Commissioner Friedlander offered the followinE motion: Vera Jones, Gertrude

petition, representing that each of the above named parties is the owner of the
� respective property referred to in said petition and that said property adjoins the
street mentioned therein; and said parties petition the I,ayor and roard of comrnissionc

to authorize the laying of a 611 water main along Alexander Avenue from 7oquot Street
to Kentucky Street, a distance of approximately 400 feet.

file the resolution of the Electric Plant bard recommending the payment of the bill
of L.R.Fowson in the sum of 1;753.66 for services rendered to February 24th, 1941; in
connection with the appraisal of properties of the Kentucky Utilities Company in
conjunction with !.r. Kartt, the a .praiser appointed by the Company, and also the Lill
of the said Fowson dated Parch 1st, 1946, and that the .,cting City ?:anaGer and the
