dP "Gentlemen of the Commission:
After checking the proposed ordinance fixing the
4y4y salaries of the city exployees, I am unable to agree to
the set-up, because in my opinion it does not present a
fair and equitable scale. It was my understanding in the
beginning that a ten per cent Increase would be made, except
as to registered nurses, and some incr.ases in excess of
ten per cent in the Finance Office. ror these reasons I
feel it my duty to vote "Ho" on the adoption of this ordinance
4 and I request that my reasons for my vote as expressed hex -air,
be spread upon the Minutes."
