Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: I move that a

extension of water main along South 22nd Street from the Clinton Road to Adams
Street, and it appearing from said petition that said petitioners agrrc in writing
and bind themselves to pay for water at a price equivalent to three consumers
.for each three (3001) hundred feet of such water main for the period of two (2)
lyears, I now move that the Commissioners of Water Works be authorized, empowered
and instructed to extend said water main by the use of a 6 inch wain on South ::2rd
street, from the end of the present main, approximately 8001. And the city of
Paducah agrees and binds itself by the adoption o£ this motion to pay the hydrant
rental provided in the franchise of said water works and to pay the water naln

?rental as also provided In said franchise. Said payments to commence when said
'water mains have been laid and the water has been turned into same. Adopted on
