Commissloncrsv Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 2:00 otclock

Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.
Parking Meters -
Commissioner McLton offered the following motion: It appearing
3 men to be employ- that it will be necessary to employ three (b) or more men to enforce the

amended regulations pertaining to parking meters, and it further appearing that it will
be necessary to amend the ordinance governing parking meters, - I move that
pending the preparation of an amended ordinance that the City :Manager be
authorized to employ three (3) men, whose employment will be temporary, at a
salary of Eighty ($80.00) Dollars per month. Said salaries to be paid from
proceeds of said meters. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners
Hannin, Lockwood, IMelton and Mayor Washburn (4).

Colored Park - Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: I move that
$500.00 appropriated
an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FIVE HUNDRED ($500.00)
DOLLARS .TO BE USED FOR IB9PROVINg A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND KNOWS AS THE PEST
J'HOUSE PROPERTY, AND BELONGING TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND LOCATED IN LIcCRACKEN

COUNTY, FOR USE OF SAID PROPERTY FOR PARK PURPOSES FOR COLORED PEOPLE"x be adopted.
