Payrolls for
last half of
September 19c
At a call maetLng of the Board of Co-smisstoners held in the
Cosmissioncrs' Chamber at the City [fall, Paducah, Kentuc'sy on the 5th doy of
October, 1934, Mayor Scott presided and upon call of the roll the following
ansuered to their names: Co nissioners Baker, Ripley, and Mayor Scott. (3).
Commissioners Bradshaw and Washburn being absent. (2).
Mayor Scott stated reason for call to -wit: For the purpose of
allowln;l the payroll for the last half of September and to transact any other
business that may come before the meeting.
Commissioner Baker offered motion that the payrolls for the last
half of September 1934 be allowed in the amount of $ 7,663.24, and that the
Acting City Treasurer be authorized to pay same by checks for nmonnt of
w 4,552.24, and to pay the remainder of 3,111.00 with Paducah Industries
Certificates. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissions Baker, Ripley
and Mayor Scott (3).
Commissioner Ripley offered motion that a license to Permit the
retailing of beer and light wines be granted the follo„ing applicants upon
payment of the proper amount to the City Treasurer.
