At a call meetinp, of the Board of Commissioners, held in the
Commissioners' Chamber at the City Ball, Paducah, "Kentucky on the 4th day
of Llay, 1934, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. Mayor Scott presided and upon call of the
roll the following ansviered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw,
Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5).
Mayor Scott stated reason for call to -wit: For the purpose of
allowing zhe payroll for the last half of April and to transact any other
business that may come before the meeting.
Mayor Scott offered motion that the appointment of Mr. Edwin C•Rancock
as member of the City Planning and Zoning Commission to fill out the unexpired
term of Mr. L. G. Sears be approved. Adopted.on call of the roll: Yeas;
Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, Washburn and mayor Scott (5).
Commissioner Baler offered motion that the payrolls for the last half
of April 1954, be allowed in the amount of S 0022,55 and that the Assistant
Treasurer be authorized to pay same by checks for amount of it 4G99.55 and to
pay the remainder of a 3323.00 with Paducah Industries Certificates. Adopted
on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, Mashburn
and Mayor Scott (5).
Mayor Scott offered motion that an ordinance entitled
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF TVIO (2) MULDS TRA'I LRE 140 LONGER
HEEDED IN THE STREET DEPART."%ENT" be adopted. Adopted on cn'L1 of the roll:
Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley and Uayor Scott (4). Commissioner
Washburn voting Nay; (1).
