At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held In the
Co-alssiorersr Chamber in the City Hull, Paducah, Kentucky on the 80th day
of April, 1054, at 2:00 o'clock P.i;. :Iayor Scott presided and upon call of
the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Yaker,
Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Bcott (4). Comsissioner Bradshaw being, abient.
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as recd.
;.iayor Scott offered motion -that the Resolution with the notice signed
by E. G. Scott, Mayor, directed to the Kentucky Utilities Company, together rrlt:h
the acknowledgment of receipt of copy of said Resolution by George +. Ronson,
'tanager of the Kentucky Utilities Conpany, together with return of y;. E. Bryant,
Chief of Police, showing service of said Resolution and notice by ttellvery of
cony of save to the said George W.Howson as :tanager of the Kentucky Utilities
Co:a_tany, be received, filed and recorded. Adopted on call of the roll.:

The notice is as follows:
"To The Kentucky Utilities Company
Paducah, Kentucky.
This is to notify you that the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Paducah, have adopted a Resolution, a certified•,ppopy of which its attached
hereto, and you are now notified that a hearing on dil questigns presented by
said Resolution, and which are authorized to be considered under your franchise
to operate a Street Rahway in the City of Paducah, will be heard by the Board
of Cornnissioners in the Commissioners Charaber or, the brd floor of the City
Rail in PaducahKentucky'
Kentucky, on the 14th day of Say, 19SA, sane being not less
than Vaenty (;t0/ days after the delivery of this notice to you as provided to
said franchise, and at which time and place you will be given fall opportunity
for a fair hearing on the facts upon t:fiich said action is proposed to be ta,tea.
