At a regular meeting of the i'oord of Commi.ssionern held in the

Commissioners+ Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky at 2:00 o!clock
P.M. on the 15th day of January, 1934, Mayor Scott oreaided and upon call
of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners esker,
Bradsbnw, Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.
Charges against Mayor Scott offered motion that the charges and complaint filed with
Chas. Block,
patrolman, the Clerk against patrolman Chas. Block, be received and filed with the
received acct

Mayor Scott offered motion that the Peoples Rational Bank and the
Citizens Savings Bank be named as depositories for the City of Paducah.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baler, Bradshsw, Ripley,
'.Mashburn and Mayor Scott (5).
Mayor Scott offered motion that the communication from the Board of
Equalization to the effect that they had met, elected a Chairman and Clerk,
and had received the books from the City Treasurer, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll. Yens; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Rioley,

Mayor Scott offered motion that the deed to a strip described as ten
(10 ft.) in breadth'of Lot #212 in block 14, Onk Grove Cemetery, lying between
Llyrtel and Willow Streets, and between Faith and Silent Avenues, on the '•1cst
side of said Avenue, from the heirs of Sam Stuard (Stuart) to Lee Clark,
be ratified and approved and that said transfer be properly entered on the
Cemetery record. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker,
Bradshaw, Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5).
Commissioner Bradshan offeredmotion that the bill of 'dill Burnley for
a load of hay delivered to the City Stables for amount of v 15.64 be nllnvod,
same having been duly approved for ollo:annee and payment, and that the City
Treasurer be authorized to pay anme nod charge to the oroner denartment. Adopted

notion Commissioner Washburn offered the follo ing motion: In view of the fact
to re-
finance that the City of Paducah has naturinc bonds that are a direct obligation of the
certain
bonds. City of Paducah, in the approximate sum of $ 161,500.00, and the further fact

that the sinking fund from tvnich said bonds are to be satisfied does not at this '
time have sold sum to its credit, I move that tl-e City Manager be instructed to
imcedintely ascertain the status of this sinking fund and that steps be take to
refinance, for such sum as will enable the City of Paducah to meet said Obligation.
