At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissioners' Chamber in the City Rall, Paducah, Kentucky at 2;00 o'clock P.M.
on the 14th day of August, 1933, Mayor Scott presided and upon call of the roll
the following answered to their names: Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and
Mayor Scott (4).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.
Report of Mayor Scott offered the following motion: The regular financial

R.D.liichol Mayor Scott offered motion that the communication from R. D. Nichol
exempted
from taxes requesting exemption from taxes for a period of five years, be received and filed;
for five
years, and it appearing from said application that this applicant is a manufacturing
enterprise and that it was organized and commenced business on the 15th day of
June 1933, and that it employs regularly more than fifteen people and is located
at 8th & Finley Streets in the City of Paducah, I move that said R. D. Nichol or
its successors be, and it is hereby exempted from the payment to the City of
Paducah of all ad valorem and license taxes for a period of five .years from the
