At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Coc_Isaionersf Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
at 2:00 otclock P.1,% on the 24th day of April, 1933, 11nyor Scott presided and upon

Report Mayor Scott offeredmotion that the report of the Paducah 'later '.7orks

Cinim Co-an!issioner Rieke offered motion that Henrietta Jett be allowed the

Commissioner Rieke offered motion that '7, P. Paxton be exonernte9 from
payment of the Poll Tax Charge of , l.'O on hip tax bill ,x/4034, For the year
1933, as tie is a non-resident of the city and now lives in McCracken County.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and
Mayor Scott (4). ,
Commiasioner Rieke offered motion that Mrs. C. E. Richardson be refunded
the fine erroneously assessed and paid by bar during the month of February,
1933, for violating a City parking Ordinance, at the intersection of Fourth
and Broadway Streets, within the 60 foot space designated by Curb marking and
warning sign, as per ordinance, but it appearing that no warning sign had as
yet been posted, and furthermore, as it was proven by measurement that she was
parked 20 feet further from the designated distance or 80 feet instead of
60 feet from said intersection, and therefore was not subject to a fine. I move
that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to nialce payment of the
refund of $ 5.00 and charge to Contingent•Fund; Adopted on call 'of the roll:
Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Cott (4).
Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the claim of the Paducah Pfister
Works for the Fire Plug Rentals for the month of March, 1933, amounting to
w. 3790.83, be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to
pay same and charge to '.later Rentals in the Department of Public Affairs.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and
Mayor Scott (4).
Mayor Scott offered motion that an ordinance entitled " AN ORDINANCE
