At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Co;--irsionersf Chamber in the City Nall Puilding in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
I
at 2:30 o'clock P.M. on the 18th day of November, 1932, Mayor Scott presided
and upon call of the roll the following answerod to their names: Commissioners
Block, Bradshaw, Holt, Rieke and Mayor Scott (5).
Mayor Scott stated reason for call to wit: For the ourposo
of allowing payrolls for the first half of November.
Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the payrolls for the first
half of November 1932 be allowed in the amount of k 5949.64, and that the
Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay same. Adopted on call of
the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Holt, Rieke and Mayor Scott (5).
Commissioner Block offered the following motion: It appenring that
through an error a permit was granted on October 30th, 1929 for the burial of
Lilly Williamson, deceased, on lot # 123, block #13 without permission of
!-Ys. Clara Timmons, the owner of the lot, but as the said Mrs. Clara Timmons
ngrees to waive all ownership to the grave space used for the burial of the body
of Lilly Williamson for the sum of a 8.00, I move that the Commissioner of Public
Finance be authorized to pay the amount of td 8.00 to Mrs. Clara Timmons in full
settlement and satisfaction of her clang against the City and charge same to the
Oak rove Funds in the Department of Public Property. Adopted on call of the
roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Holt, Rieke and Mayor Scott (5).'
On motion the meeting adjourned.
