At an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commisoionors
held in the Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City
of Paducah, Kentucky st 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 13th day of October, 1931,
Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to
their names: Comnicsioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Hatter and Mayor Lackey, (4).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.
E.L.Boyer house Commissioner Bradshaw offered the following motion: It
roving bond
released censoring from the attached communication from E.L.Beyer and his surety, The
National Surety Company, by Hecht S. Lackey, Agent, that the house located at
13th & Park Avenue has been moved to North 24th street, under permit and bond
dated July 8, 1931,that said building line been moved under the permit and the
principal and surety both having requested said bond be released, and the
Commissioner of Public 'orks having examined the streets ever which said
building visa moved and finding no damage or injury done thereto, I now move that
said communication be.received and filed and that said surety in said bond be
released. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin,
Putter and Mayor Lackey, (4).

commencing within thirty days after such pipe and main is completed and
connections made, I now move that snid petition of said water patrons be received
and filed and that said water mains be in all respects extended and installed
under the provisions of Section 5 of said ordinance and that the Coe,missioners
of Water Works of Pnducah, Kentucky be authorized, empo;:ered and instructed to
install said water mains and water connections along Lovin ivcnue, from 32nd
street to a point apnroximately 6001 north of 32nd street. Adopted on cell of

Maggie Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: Maggie Wilka having
W1lks -
refund on heretofore purchased a one grave space in Lot No.552, Block 10 in Oak Grove Cemetery
grave spot,
on the 15th day of June, 1931, and thereafterwards having purchased a lot to be used
by her instead of said grave space and she having heretofore paid for both the grove
space end the lot, and having on the 10th day of October, 1931 executed and delivered
to the City her deed reconveying said grave space to the City, I nai move that said
deed to•said grave scace be accepted and that she be refunded add repaid sold $8.00
that she paid for the same; some to be charged to the account of Oak Grove Cemetery.

Vater malas Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: Certain property owners on
extended
outside Dixie Avenue and York street, fust off Bridge street, or the Benton Road, near Tyler,
city to
Dixie Ave, having requested the Paducah eater :Corks to grant them permission to connect a 2"
service line to the main on York street, to supply water to residences situated on
Dixie Avenue and York street, located outside the corporate limits of the City of
Paducah, I move that permission be hereby granted to the Paducah Plater Works to extend
said rater service to Dixie Avenue and York street, and said Paducah Slater Works be
authorized to so extend said water service upon 'the same rates and conditions for like
service within the corporatelimits of the city. No mains or service pipe, however,
beyond the city limits to be furnished or installed by said Paducah Water Works.

Cotton & Mayor Lackey offered motion that the account of Cotton & Eskew, for

weekly pay- services ea certified accountants, for service on audit of the city records for the
roll
week ending October 10, 1931, amounting to $618.75, as approved by the Mayor, be
ol2owed and paid; and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to draw
check for said amount and emerge same to the Continr,ont Fund. Adopted on coil of
