At a Regular Meeting of the Board oil Commissioners hold in the Commissioner's
Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, at 2:00 P.M. on the
27th day df July 1931, Mayor Lackey presided and gpon the call of the roll the follow-
ing answered to their names: Commissionors Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and
Mayor Lackey. (5).
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
"rater Commissioner Bradshaw offered the following Motion: The ownors of property

Y.iller St. on Miller Street, from Ficklin Avenue to 4lashington Blvd, in the City of Paducah, in

Ave to all respects as provided by Section 5 of the franchise ordinance creating the franchise

ton Blvd. of the Paducah :Yater works Company in Paducah, Kentucky, and having in all respects
extended
agreed in writing to take, use and pay for water at the fixed rate for a term of not
less than two years, commencing within thirty days after such pipe and main is com-
pleted and connections made, I now move that said petition of said water patrons be
received and filed and that said water mains be in all respects extended and installed
under the provisions of Section 5 of said -ordinance and that the Commissioners of
Water ''.orks of Paducah, Kentucky be authorized, empowered and instructed to install
said ;rater mains and water connections along Miller Stree, from Ficklin Avenue to
Washington Blvd. Adopted on the call of the Poll: Yeah; Commissioners Bradshaw ,
Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey. (5).
Coal Bids Commissioner Hannin offerdd motion that bids for coal to supply the City
received
of Paducah for the coming year have been received and filed, namely:
Bradley Bros
Blumenfield Coal Company
West Kentucky Coal Company
Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter
and Mayor Lackey. (5).

Coal Cc City of Paducah for the coming year, and having received numerous bids and same
having been opened according to said notice, and it is appearing that the bid of the
West Kentucky Coal Company to furnish Mino Run Coal at ,^2.63 per ton, and Lump Coal
at ;3.04 is the lowest and beat bid.
I now nova this said proposal and bid be received for filing and that the
Mayor be instructed to sign a contract with said West Kentucky Coal Company in accord -
anon with sntd bid. Adopted an the call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw,
Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey. (5).

of Paducah 1930 Funding Bonds, due August 1, 1931:

Amount to be romittcd through the City Natiohal Bank to the Chemical

Interest Counons paid Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the Commissioner of Public
Finance be authorized to pay bond interest on the following Qssues due and payable
August 1, 1931:

21,500.00 City Hospital Bonds " 430.00
21,000.00 Market Rouse Bonds " 420.00
Total Interest ;;3030.00
Amount to be remitted through the City National Bank to the trustees
of the particular issues in Cincinnati, Ohio. Adopted on call of the roll. Yeas;
Commissioners Bradshawo Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey. (5).
