At a ragul-r meeting of the 5onrd of Commissioners hold in the Cooimissloners I
Chamber in the City Rall Building in the City of Padueeh, Kentucky at 2:00 o'clock
P.M. on the 30th day of March, 1931, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll
the follovinc answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson,
Futter and Ynyor Lnckey, (5).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted at read.
Arcadia Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the allowance of $223.13 for 6 months
Graded
School interest :'rich matures on April 1, 1931 on the Arcadia Graded School Bonds of 1926,
Bond
1926- of $8500.00 outstandingat5;j1%. andthatthe Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized
interest to pay same to the City Neaional Bank when due and charge to the School Bond Interest
Fund. Adop-Pd on'call'of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson,
Rutter and U3yor Lackey, (5).
Cash Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the cash orders in the amount of
Orders -
$154.70 be'allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance be reimbursed by check on
the General Fund for said amount; same to be charged to the proper funds. Adopted
on call of the roll: Yens; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor
Lackey, (5).
Bronstein Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the communication from Bronstein-
Co.ex-r Schiar Company, requesting exemption from taxes for a years, Co.ex- Y� g P period of five ears be
emoted received and filed; and it appearing from said application that this applicant is a

years manufacturing enterprise and that it was organized and commenced business on the 1st
day of March, 1931, and that it employs regularly more than fifteen people and is
located at 1014-16 Jefferson Street in the City of Paducah, I move that said
Bronstein-Schriar Company, or its successors, be, and it is hereby exempted from the
payment to the City of Paducah of all ad valorem and license taxes for a period of
five years from the let day of March, 1931. Adopted on call of the roll: Yens;
