At a call meeting of the board of Commissioners hold in the Commissioners'
Chamber in the City Hall building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2 o'clock p.m.
on the 29th day of January, 1931, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the
folloring answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Belson, Rutter and
Mayor Lackey, (5). '
Mavor Lackey stated reason for call,to-wit: For the purpose of parsing
an ordinance to borrow money, and granting police power to John Fnrley and Barney B.
Bailey, and such other business as may come before the Board.
John Far- Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the communication from the

police Citizens Savings bank, requesting that the Board of Commissioners grant police power
power
to John Farley as special policeman for the Citizens Savings Bank, be received and
filed and that the said John Farley be granted police power upon his executing bind
and tekine bhe oath as required by ordinance and law. Adopted on call of the roll:
Yeas; Commissioners Brodshar•, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the communication from the City
Barney B.
Bailey- National Bank, requesting that the Board of Commissioners grant police power to
police
cower Barney B. Bailey as special policeman f6r the City National Bank, be received and
filed and that the said Barney B. Bailey be granted police poorer upon his executing
bond and taking the oath as required by ordinance and law. Adopted on call of t�'e
roll: Yeas; Commissioners bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
Commissioner Rutter offered motion to adopt an ordinance entitled,
