At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Commissioners'
Chamber in the City Ball Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2 o'clock p.m.
on the 29th day of October, 1930, Mayor Lackey presided nnd'upon cnll of the roll
the following answ<red to their names: Commissioners Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and
Mayor Lackey, (4).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose of allowing
City Solicitor's expenses to Louisville, Kentucky on legal business concerning City,
and such other business as may come before the Board.
Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: It appearing that it is
City
Solicitor necessary that the City Solicitor go immediately to Louisville, Kentucky to attend
to Louis-
ville the final conferences and negotiations incident to the final transfer and delivery
of the Paducah t4ater Works to the City of Paducah, and that the necessary expenses
of said trip and other expenses incident thereto ^sill be x;50.00, I move that the
Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized End instructed to pay to the City
'olicitor the sum of $50.00 to defray his expenses incident to the trip to be made
to Louisville in connection with the purchase and delivery of the Paducah Water
Works to the City of Paducah; same to be charged to "Nater Works Survey Account.
