Proceedings of BOARD OF COMMIF.SIONNR, __ QR9 of faducah,OCTOBBR 6,7930
At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissionors held in the
Commissionera' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah,Kentucky
at 2 o'clock p.m. on the 6th day of October, 1930, Mayor Lackey presided and
upon toll of the roil the following nnsw•ered to their namae- Commissioners
Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
Minutesof the previous meetings were adopted as read.
Polito Dept, Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the report of Gus Rogers,
Sept.report Chief of Police, for the month of Seotember, 1930, be received and fi18d.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson,
Rutter and tfnyor Lackey, (5).
Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the report of Tom King, City
Ci'y Jail Jailer, for the month of September, 1930, be received and filed. Adopted on

Pire Dept. Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the report of J.N.Slaughter,
Sept, report Fire Chief for the month of September, 1930 be received and filed. Adooted on

Mayor Lackey, (5).
Payrolls- Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the payroll for wort: done

Conveissioner Rutter offered motion that the report on the E.L. Beyer
Cont.#1 - Contract Ho.1 be accepted and the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized
final settle-
ment.Jeff. to nnke final settlement upon sale of the Improvement Bonds to be issued thereon

Finance be authorized to have printed, executed and sold = ch Improvement Bonds

Valley Aszoeintion having informed the City of Paducah that it is to hold its annual

Assn. convention in the City of Cincinnati, Ohio on October 7th and 8th, 1930, and

gatee requesting the City of Paducah to name and appoint delegates to said convention,

may attend anid convention as representatives of the City of Paducah, but with the
