At a call meeting of the Board of Commisoioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber in the City Hall Building In the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 10 o'clock
on the 27th day of September, 1930, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll
the follrnwing answered to their names: Com'nissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson,
Rutter and Mayor Lnckey, (5). Mayor Lackey stated reason for cnll,to-wit: For the pur-
pose of opening senled bids on X45,000 Refunding Bonr'.s, and such other business as may
come before the Board.
Commissioner Rutter offered motion t}at the sealer] bids heretofore filed
445,000
Refunding with the Commissioner of Public Finance and opened in the presence of the Board of
bids Co". issioners at this meeting, together with the dertified bid checks accompanying

same, be received and said bids filed, and the bid checks delivered to the
Co::miissioner of Public Finance to be held until further ordered by the Board of
Commissioners, which bids are as follows:
Stranahan, Harris & Company
City National Bank
`9alter, woody & Heimerdinger
Stein Brothers & Boyce
Caldwell & Company
Adopted on call of the roll; Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hnnnin, Nelson, Rutter
and Mayor Lackey, (5).
ve:5,000 Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: It appearing from an

Bonds bid examination of all the bids aeceived for the $45,000 Refunding Bonds issue this day
of Cald-
well & Cc offered for snle thot the bid of Caldwell & Comonny is the highest and best bid, and
accented
some being for more than par and accrued interest, I move that said bid be accepted
and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to deliver said bonds
when executed to said bidder and receive therefor the purchase price thereof
aforesaid, and that the bid checks of the unsuccessful bidders be returned to them
and that the bid check of the successful bidder be held by the Commissioner of Public
Finnnce until delivery of the b6nda and payment therefor. Adopted on call of the
roll: Yeas; Commissioners 'Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
On motion meeting adjourned.
