At on -adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
CoT=Ass loners I Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
at 2 o'clock p.m. on the 2nd day of September, 1930 Mayor Lackey presided and upon
call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Hradsha.-,
Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and !.:ayor Lackey, (5).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read,
Police Dept. Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the report of Gus Rogers, Chief of
Aug.130 rept
Policem for the month of August, 1930, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the
roll: Yeas, Oormissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
City Jail
Aug. 130 Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the report of Tom King, City Jailer,
report for the month of August, 1930 be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll:

Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: I move that the fifth and

& Ladder final payment of $1750.00 plus the interest :105.00, total $1855.00, which becomes

final pay- due on Stpeember 7, 1930, in accordance with the terms of the contract for the

purchase of the new Hook & Ladder Fire Truck from the General Manufacturing Company,
St. Louis, Mo., be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance authorized to pay

Choate & Commissioner Putter offered motion that the claim of Choate & Jnckson for
Jackson

allowance and payment, I move that some be allowed and the Commissioner of Public
Finance authorized to pay same ani charge to the proper fund. Adopted on call of

Cn•h Orders Commissioner Rutter offered motion tbnt the cash orders in the amount of
