At n call meeting of the Bonrd of Commissioners held in the Coramissioners(
Chanber In the City 1In11 Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 11 o'clock
A.M., on the 14th day of December, 1929, M-yor Lackey presided and upon call
of the roll the following answered to their names; Comaissioners Hannin,.
Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (3).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, to-wit: For the purpose of receiving
resolutions from the City Planning and Zoning Commission closing cortnin parts

of Broadway and Jefferson a rests, and such other business as may coma before the

Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: It being necessary that

the Mayor and City Solicitor attend a meeting of oublic,officials of second cl.nss

Lexington conferee oil ies of the state of Kentucky to be held in Lexington on the 17th dry of

December, 1929, and that the expense of such attendsnce ;,ill be approximately
$90.00, I move that the Commissioner of Public Finnnee be nuthorized nnd•
instructed to pny to the !Inyor the sum of e90.00 out of which to defray the
necessary expense of himself and City Solicitor on said trip to Lexington,
Kentucky December 17th in the interest of the City of Paducah; same to be
charged to Contingent. Fund. Adopted on call of the roll:-Yess; Commissioners

requesting the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah to adopt an ordinnnce
closing a certain pert of Broadway Street, between 28th Street and 'Pnd Street,
as ohown in snid resolution, be received snd filed. Adopted on call of the
ro'l: Yens. Commissioners Fannin, Rutter and L'ayor Lackey, (3).
