Proceedings of BOARr OF COMMI88IONITS City of Paducah rKENTUCKY, OCTOBER 10,1929
At a call Meting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissionerst
Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 10 o'clock a.m.,
on the 10th day of October, 1929, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the
follovirg answerer. to their names: Commissioners Honnin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor
Lackey, (4).
Vnyor Lackey stated reason for call, to -wit: For t'•e purpose of
sending City Solicitor to Louisville to attend United States District Court,
and such other business as m -y come before the Board.
• Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: It appearing that it is
City Sol- necessary for the City Solicitor to attend United States District Court at Louisville,

to U.B. Kentucky on Monday, October 14, 1929 to represent the City of Paducah and the Chief
District
Court. of Police and Commissioner of Public Safety in the action of Tonahill vs said city
and sacs officers, end•to file certain pleadings and motion on behalf of said
officers and the said city, and that the probable expem•e of said trip and the filing
of pleadings :ill be $45.00, I move that the Commissioner of Public Finance
be authorized and instructed to pay to 17.V.F.aton, City Solicitor, the sum of $45.00
to be used for the purpose of paying said expenses of said trip and the handling of
said case, and for representing the city in any other matters that may be necessary
on said trip; some to be charged to account of Cost & Suits. Adopted on call of
the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4).
On motion meeting adjourned.
