At an adjourned meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Com;
missioners' Chamber in the City Rall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 3
o'clock P.M., on the 8th day of August, 1928, pursuant to an adjournment of August
7th, 1928, izayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll'the following answered to
their names: Cor,.issioncrs Bradshaw, Rannln, Nelson, Rutter and Neyor Lacko7,(5).
Corriiscioher Bradshaw offered the following motion: It appearing that the
Sewer calculations of the bids for construction of sewers in Sewer Zone 4 A have not boon

adjourn- completed and that it will be impossible to complete same today, I move that the Board

adjourn until'3 o'clock P.M., on Thursday, August 9th, 1928. Adopted on the call of

At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 10 o'clock A.M.,
on the 9th day of August, 1928, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the
followinG answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshaa, Hannin, Nelson, nutter
and Mayor Lackey, (5):
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call to -wit: For the purpose of borrowing
Fifty Thousand (650,000.00) Dollars, and such other business as may come before the
Board;
Commissioner Rutter offered motion to adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONER OF PUBLIC FINANCE
TO B07.1307 THE SUM OF PI PTY THOUSAND (:50,000.00) DO;LARS FOR THE -USE AND BENEFIT OP THE:
Borrow CITY OF PADUCAH, AND To '=CUTE A NOTE OR NOTES FOR SAID SUM OR SUMS FOR AND ON BL.'RALF
